A. Anonymous Install Identifiers (X-Install-Id): The Android application generates a random anonymous UUID upon installation. This identifier allows the backend to deliver requested push alerts and maintain session context for troubleshooting without linking to any real-world identity.
B. Device Hardware Telemetry (Android App Only): When you run a hardware audit or health check, the app transmits standard non-personal Android build identifiers (e.g. manufacturer, model string, build number, and security patch date) strictly to match your hardware variant against our database.
C. Email Address (Optional Update Alerts): If you choose to subscribe to email notifications on a device detail page, your email address is stored exclusively to send you alerts when updates are published for that specific device model.
D. Standard Web Server Logs: Like virtually all websites, our servers record standard HTTP request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp) for cybersecurity auditing, rate limiting, and DDoS prevention.
Email addresses provided for update alerts are used exclusively for transactional firmware notifications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the one-click unsubscribe link included at the bottom of every alert email.
